Jarvis Jones
The Plymouth University Raiders have announced that Jarvis Jones (188-PG-90), a 6'2" American guard, has joined the team straight from Eastern Tennessee State University in the USA.

The 23 year old, comes to the Raiders with a great reputation from University, and his University coach, Murry Bartow, believes he will be a big success in the professional game. "Jarvis is a player who can really score the basketball," said Bartow. "He is capable of hitting shots from outside, but can also take the ball to the basket off the dribble. He's got ice water in his veins late in games, and he hit several game-winning, clutch shots for us during his time here. He's also a just a great person and will be a huge asset for any team."

For ETSU last season, he averaged 16 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists and 1.8 assists per game. He hails from Memphis in Tennessee. Jarvis is looking forward to his time in Plymouth with the Raiders already "I am so thankful that the birth of my professional career is starting with the Plymouth Raiders. It's like a dream come true that I will be playing professional basketball. I'm every excited about meeting my teammates and playing with them this upcoming season."

Along with Gabe Haskins, and Donald Robinson, Jones will compete for time at the guard spots. Raiders Coach Gavin Love is looking forward to working with Jarvis this coming season. "Jarvis is an explosive guard who can play at both the PG and SG positions. Jarvis had a good college career and is ready to take the next step in to the professional game. There is always a learning curve with first year players but Jarvis is a very dedicated athlete and I believe his game will translate well into the BBL."
