Byron
Mullens
Los Angeles Clippers (NBA) agreed terms with 24-year old center Byron Mullens (213-125kg-89, college: Ohio State). He has played for the last two seasons at Charlotte Bobcats. In 53 games he had 10.6ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.5apg last season.
The previous (11-12) season Mullens was tested by Panionios (A1) in Greek league.
He ended the previous (10-11) season at the Thunder. In 12 games he recorded just 2.1ppg and 2.0rpg that season. But the most of that year Mullens spent at 66ers. In 14 games he recorded 14.9ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.0apg and 1.4bpg.
In 2009 he was drafted by Dallas Mavericks in first round (24th overall). Mullens attended Ohio State and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as he played in the final of D-League in 2010. Mullens was also voted Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year back in 2009 at his college time.
Mullens has played previously for Tulsa 66ers.
On Mullens: Has tremendous presence and a good sense of where he is on the floor with his back to the basket. Excellent finisher. Solid rebounder and shot-blocker. Fundamentally sound for his position ... Most of his points come off pick and rolls, put-backs and second shots opportunities, as well as dunks around the basket and alley-oops.

Giants snap up Harris - 8 hours ago
Manchester Giants have signed 6ft 8in British forward Clayfell Harris(203-C-87, college: Wayne St., NE, agency: Promotex) from Leeds Force. Harris, 30, has spent the past two years with the Force and becomes the first new face added to the Giants roster by new coach Danny Byrne. 'That said, he is more than capable of contributing 15 points and plenty...   [read more]
