Union Poitiers Basket 86 (ProB) landed 25-year old British ex-international forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-105kg-88, college: Le Moyne). He has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Ekperigin played most recently at FCM Ferentino in Italian Lega Due Gold. In 28 games he averaged 13.9ppg, 9.9rpg (#3 in the league) and 1.2spg last season. It was a very successful year in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Italian Lega2 Bosman Player of the Year, selected to Honorable Mention and selected to All-Bosmans Team.
Among other achievements Ekperigin played in the final of Northeast-10 Tournament in 2009. He received also Northeast-10 Player of the Year award back in 2009 at his college time. Ekperigin was a member of British Senior National Team two years ago.
He has played also professionally in Korea (Mobis Phoebus), Spain (Herbalife Gran Canaria 2014).
Ekperigin attended Le Moyne College until 2010 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
