Spain thrash Great Britain in Zaragoza in the second appearance between two sides before heading to Slovenia. Spain won 100:48 and showed their 100% readiness for the upcoming Eurobasket 2013.
Spain started the game with 22-16 rally and never looked behind. They added 27-16 run in the second period for 49:30 halftime advantage. Moreover Spain erupted in the second half and added two massive victories for the final 52-pooint win. They won the third period 29-10 and finished the game with 22-6 surge.
Marc Gasol (216-C-85, agency: Interperformances) stepped up with 17 points and Sergio Llull (192-SG-87) nailed 14. Ricky Rubio (192-G-90) and Rudy Fernandez (198-SF-85) followed them with 11 each, while Claver netted 7. Lawrence produced 9 points in defeat and Myles Hesson (195-F-90) scored 7. Ogooluwa Adegboye (182-PG-87, college: St.Bonaventure) and Robinson delivered 6 points each in a loss.
