Kramer
Knutson
London Lions Head Coach Vince Macaulay has added US centre Kramer Knutson (205-F/C-89, college: Portland) to the London Lions' roster ahead of the 2013/14 season.

The 6'9" American is an athletic post player who graduated from NCAA Division 1 School, University of Portland. At Portland the athletic Knutson averaged 6 points and 5 rebounds a game before going on to play professionally in Switzerland and Romania.

Knutson played for BC Nyon in Switzerland in their LNA Premier Division and averaged 12 points and 8 rebounds whilst shooting nearly 60% from the floor and blocking 2 shots per game.

Lions' Head Coach Vince Macaulay had this to say, "I can see Kramer having a lot of fun with his all energy type of game, he's a tough defender, shot blocker and aggressive player, just my style really."

The 24 year old went on to play for Sibiu in the ultra tough Romanian League and competed in the Euro Challenge, hitting 19 and 15 rebounds on several occasions. Limited court time saw Knutson look to return to Western Europe. Said Knutson, "I'm so glad for this opportunity, I've heard a lot of the BBL and I've been keeping a keen eye on what teams are doing, I'm excited to join London and I just want to contribute in any way possible."

Player sponsorships are available for Lions players on a first come first served basis.

The Lions Early Bird Season ticket offer for the Copper Box Arena, including the much in demand Lions Varsity Jackets, FREE, are on sale now just log on to the website or email lolly@londonlionsbasketball.com.

Tony Brings G-Force To Glasgow - 1 day ago
As the pre-season continues most fans look towards the internet, websites and social media to see who their Club have signed and then begin to think is he the right player for my Club? Coaching appointments tend to attract less attention but are equally as important. Nowhere does this strike more truth than in The BBL this season. Long standing stalwarts like Sterling Davis and Nigel Lloyd have stepped down. Manchester and Cheshire have appointed from within to replace Yorick Williams an...   [read more]
