Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of British players who are currently playing abroad.

Luol Deng
Luol Deng
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Luol Deng (206-85, agency: Interperformances, college: Duke, currently plays in NBA). He led Chicago Bulls to a victory over the Golden State Warriors (39-30) 113-95 in the NBA in Friday night's game. Deng was MVP of the game. He scored 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 34 minutes on the court. The Chicago Bulls have 36-30 record this season. It's Deng's ninth year with the team. Deng has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.3ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.9apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 45.4%, 3FGP: 30.1% and FT: 83.0% in the 61 games he played so far. Deng has a dual citizenship: British and Sudanese. He is currently a member of the British senior national team.

Ben Gordon
Ben Gordon
#2. Second place goes to an international guard Ben Gordon (188-83, college: Connecticut, currently plays in NBA). Gordon was the major contributor in a Charlotte Bobcats' victory against the Washington Wizards (23-43) 119-114 in the NBA last Monday. He scored 19 points. The Charlotte Bobcats have rather weak 15-52 record this season. It's Gordon's first year with the team. This year Gordon has very high stats. He averages: 12.2ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 42.9%, 3FGP: 39.5% and FT: 84.6%. Gordon is a naturalized American. He is in the roster of the British senior national team. Strangely Gordon has never played in United Kingdom.

Dante Cunningham
Dante Cunningham
#3. The British player who performed third best last week abroad was former international forward Dante Cunningham (203-87, college: Villanova, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Cunningham could not help the Minnesota Timberwolves (23-42) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his good performance the Minnesota Timberwolves were badly defeated 107-91 on the road by the Indiana Pacers. Cunningham scored 12 points. Cunningham has relatively good stats this season: 8.0ppg, 5.1rpg, 2FGP: 45.6% and FT: 59.8%. He is a naturalized American. Cunningham played for the British national team five years ago. Apparently he has never played in United Kingdom.
