We bring you last week's top performances from British players who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Luol Deng (206-85, agency: Interperformances, college: Duke, currently plays in NBA). He led Chicago Bulls to a victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (25-44) 104-97 in the NBA last Sunday. Deng scored 17 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 4 assists. The Chicago Bulls have 38-31 record this season. It's Deng's ninth year with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Deng averages: 16.2ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.8apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 45.3%, 3FGP: 30.4% and FT: 81.8%. He has a dual citizenship: British and Sudanese. Deng is currently a member of the British senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Dante Cunningham (203-87, college: Villanova, currently plays in NBA). He was the major contributor in a Minnesota Timberwolves' victory against the Phoenix Suns (23-48) crushing them 117-86 in the NBA on Friday night. Cunningham scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 30 minutes. The Minnesota Timberwolves have 25-44 record this season. It's Cunningham's first year with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 8.3ppg, 5.1rpg, 2FGP: 46.5% and FT: 60.7% in the 68 games he played so far. Cunningham is a naturalized American. He played for the British national team in 2008. Strangely Cunningham has never played in United Kingdom.

   #3. The British player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Ben Gordon (188-83, college: Connecticut, currently plays in NBA). He contributed to a Charlotte Bobcats' victory against the Toronto Raptors (26-44) 107-101 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. Gordon recorded 16 points. The Charlotte Bobcats have rather weak 16-54 record this season. It's Gordon's first year with the team. This year he has very high stats. Gordon averages: 11.9ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 42.3%, 3FGP: 38.8% and FT: 84.4%. He is a naturalized American. Gordon is also a member of the British senior national team. Apparently he has never played in United Kingdom.

   #4. Forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-88, college: Le Moyne, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian Lega2 (second division) could not help FCM Ferentino (8-13) in their last game. Despite Ekperigin's very good performance FCM Ferentino lost 85-90 at home to the much higher-ranked (#4) C.de Latte BRE. He had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 12 rebounds in 29 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Ekperigin's third season in pro basketball. Ekperigin is ranked third on the list of the best rebounders in the league with 9.9rpg. This year he also averages: 13.7ppg and 1.1spg in the 21 games. Ekperigin is a naturalized American. He used to play for the British national team back in 2011. Interesting that Ekperigin has never played in United Kingdom.

   #5. International power forward Daniel Clark (210-88, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Asefa Estudiantes (12-14) in their game against Blusens Monbus (13-13) in the Spanish ACB. He scored 8 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Asefa Estudiantes was defeated 82-71 on the road by the higher-ranked Blusens Monbus (#9). It was Asefa Estudiantes' fifth consecutive loss in a row. Clark has been at the team for four years. Clark's overall stats this season are: 4.9ppg and 2.8rpg. He plays currently for the British national team.

Former U20 international power forward Alhaji Fullah (201-89, currently plays college basketball in the States) couldn't help the Charleston So. in their game against the University of Southern Mississippi in the NCAA National Tournament Round 1. Fullah cannot count Wednesday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 14 minutes. His team lost 71-78. Fullah has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 1.1rpg in the 28 games. He used to play for the British U20 national team back in 2009.

   #13. Former U20 international center Abodurin Olaseni (208-91, currently studies in the States) managed to help University of Iowa in a victory against the Indiana State University 68-52 in the NCAA National Tournament Round 1 in Wednesday night's game. He scored only 2 points and blocked 2 shots in 12 minutes. Olaseni has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 1.1rpg in the 28 games. He used to play for the British U20 national team three years ago.

   #14. Former international point guard Justin Robinson (187-87, agency: Two Points, college: Rider, currently plays in Sweden) couldn't help Uppsala Basket in their game against LF Basket in the Swedish Basketligan. Robinson cannot count Tuesday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points. His team was defeated 88-81. Robinson has averaged so far 5.8ppg, 1.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg. He used to play for the British national team back in 2011.

   #15. Former U20 international forward Lee Goldsbrough (206-91, is currently at the American university) helped Providence win their game against the Robert Morris University 77-68 in the NCAA National Tournament Round 3 in Monday night's game. He recorded 6 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Goldsbrough has reliable stats this season: 11.0ppg and 5.8rpg. He used to play for the British U20 national team two years ago.

   #1. Byron Mullens (213-C-89, college: Ohio St., currently plays in NBA) led Charlotte Bobcats to a victory over the Toronto Raptors (26-44) 107-101 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Mullens recorded 25 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks in 28 minutes. The Charlotte Bobcats have rather weak 16-54 record this season. Mullens has relatively good stats this year: 11.0ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.5apg in the 51 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Strangely Mullens has never played in United Kingdom.

   #2. Lee Jeka (187-G-83, currently plays in Germany) was the main contributor in a Science City Jena's victory against the closely-ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (15-13) 69-65 in the German ProA (second division) in Saturday night's game. Jeka was MVP of the game. He recorded 21 points and added 3 passes in 35 minutes. Science City Jena (14-14) is placed eighth in the ProA. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Jeka's first season with the team. Jeka belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #7 with 4.3apg. He also averaged so far 13.4ppg and 3.0rpg in the 27 games. Jeka has a dual citizenship: British and Australian.

   #3. Oladapo Ayuba (198-F-86, college: UMKC, currently plays in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Basketligan could not help Norrkoping Dolphins (4-2) in their last game. Despite Ayuba's good performance the league leader Norrkoping Dolphins was crushed 104-80 on the road by the lower-ranked (#5) Boras Basket. He scored 10 points and added 3 passes in 19 minutes. Ayuba is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Norrkoping Dolphins' roster. This season Ayuba has relatively solid stats: 10.5ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.5apg in the 35 games. He is a naturalized American. However Ayuba has never played in United Kingdom.

   #4. Olumide Oyedeji (210-C-81, currently plays in Japan) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Panasonic Trians (21-21) crushing them 99-64 in the Japanese JBL on Sunday night. Oyedeji scored 9 points, had 11 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 21 minutes. Link Tochigi Brex (13-29) is placed sixth in the JBL. The Regular Season already ended. Oyedeji is ranked fourth on the list of the best rebounders in the league with 10.4rpg. This year his other stats are: 9.0ppg and 1.4apg in the 16 games. Oyedeji is another player who holds two passports: Nigerian and British.

   #5. Daryl Corletto (193-G-81, currently plays in Australia) was not able to help New Zealand Breakers (24-4) in their game against Perth Wildcats (22-6) in the Australian NBL. He cannot count Friday's game as one of the best ones. Corletto scored only 3 points. The league leader New Zealand Breakers were defeated 73-58 in Perth by the second-ranked Wildcats. It was New Zealand Breakers' first loss after sixteen consecutive victories. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Corletto has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 1.1rpg. He has both British and Australian nationalities.

   #6. Teddy Okereafor (190-G-92, currently plays college basketball in the States) managed to help Virginia Commonwealth University to win against the The University of Akron crushing them 88-42 in the NCAA on Thursday night. Okereafor scored only 2 points and added 3 assists. Okereafor has averaged so far 9.1ppg and 1.1rpg.

   #7. Andrew Thomson (205-F-84, college: Catawba, currently plays in France) contributed to an La Rochelle's victory against the 12th-ranked Angers BC 49 81-68 in the French NM1 (third division) on Saturday night. Thomson scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 27 minutes. Thomson has reliable stats this year: 11.0ppg and 5.8rpg in the 22 games.
