Branko Mirkovic (ex Ril.Sportlist) joins Tsmoki-Minsk - Jul 24, 2013

Tsmoki-Minsk (Premier League) agreed terms with 31-year old Bulgarian international guard Branko Mirkovic (190-85kg-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza). He is a dual citizen owning also Serbian passport. Mirkovic has played for the last two seasons at Ril.Sportlist in Bulgarian NBL league. In 37 games he had very impressive stats: 17.1ppg, 3.5rpg, 5.8apg and 1.7spg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League 1st Team and All-Imports Team. Mirkovic also played 15 games in Balkan League where he was fourth best scorer with remarkable 15.5ppg and averaged 3.5rpg, 6.9apg (leader !!!) and 1.8spg (in top 2). He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Balkan League Guard of the Year and named to 1st Team.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as Mirkovic won Bulgarian League championship title in 2010. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Balkan League European Player of the Year in 2012. Mirkovic was called to Bulgarian Senior National Team this year.
He is quite experienced player. Mirkovic has played also professionally in Bosnia (Igokea), FYR Macedonia (Pelister Bitola), Serbia (Smederevo Vizura).
