Lokomotiv overcame BC Donetsk to sweep the eighth-final series. The game was mostly controlled by Lokomotiv. BC Donetsk managed to win fourth quarter 20-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Lokomotiv looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lokomotiv made 7 blocks. American-Greek point guard Nick Calathes (198-89, college: Florida) scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Lithuanian point guard Mantas Kalnietis (195-86, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists during the contest. But Spartak St.Petersburg won third quarter 18-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
