Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius (LKL) agreed terms with 27-year old American center Patrick OBryant (213-113kg-86, college: Bradley). He just played at Reno Bighorns (D-League) in the U.S.. In four games this season he had 10.3ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.0bpg. OBryant ended the last season at Tiburones (LNB) in Venezuelan league. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. But the most of that year he spent at Indios (BSN) in Puerto Rican league. In 39 games he recorded 11.3ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.1apg and 1.6bpg. Quite impressive season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Honorable Mention. OBryant also played at Enosi Kalathosfairisis Kavalas (A1) in Greek league earlier that season. In 19 games last year he recorded 9.6ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.2spg and 1.5bpg.
In 2006 he was drafted by Golden State Warriors (NBA) in first round (9th overall). OBryant attended Bradley University and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as he won D-League West Conference championship title in 2011. OBryant was also voted All-MVC Defensive Player of the Year back in 2006 at his college time.
OBryant has played also professionally for other NBA teams like Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors.
He could be described: He is a real force in the middle. He blocks shots and rebounds and now he is really starting to score.
