Canada had a game against a much tougher opponent which is Lithuania. Lithuania entered the game seriously with a 15-4 run in the first 5 minutes, where they showed real commitment on defense and offence which helped them take an eight point lead at the end of the first (12-20)
Lithuania tried to make a good come back in the second quarter by playing good defense in first three minutes from it and by making a good run but the Canadian team came back into the game and finished the game up by 10 (33-43)
Canada started the third with a good runwhich raised the lead to 17 points but Linas Kleiza (203-F-85, college: Missouri) and his mates made the real come back and finished the third down by only 2 points 55-57 and they continued their run because of the ex[erience that showed its effect in the late fourth to finish the game by a very important win 68-70 and gave them a second win in this edition of world cup.
Best player was Linas Kleiza with 18 pts grabbed 10 rebounds.
From Canada Jermaine Anderson was the best with 15 pts.

Group A Armenia - Bosnia 66-83 Bosnia and Herzegovina upset Armenia in Yerevan to advance into the World Cup European Qualifiers. Dzanan Musa (200-SG-99, agency: BeoBasket) produced 21 points to lead the visitors to the crucial win. Bosnia eked out a 44:41 halftime lead.
