Newly promoted Hapoel Afula (Winner League) inked 24-year old American 198cm guard Cassius Stanley (college: Duke, agency: Interperformances) for upcoming season. Stanley played this summer at Denver Nuggets in the NBA Summer League. In four games just recently he recorded 6.5ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.0spg. The last season he played at Valley Vipers in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 39 NBA Summer League games he averaged 14.1ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.0apg.
Three years ago he was drafted by Indiana Pacers (NBA) in second round (54th overall). The former Duke University star is in his fourth season in pro basketball.
He has played also professionally in NBA (Detroit Pistons) and NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants and Motor City Cruise). Stanley played in the final of NBA G League in 2023.
He was voted to ACC All-Freshman Team back in 2020.
