Here is the weekly review of the top performing Red Raiders alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Ryan Moffatt, a 6'6" guard/forward and 26-year-old graduate of Colgate University’s Class of 2024, played a pivotal role in helping his college team secure the Patriot League Regular Season Champion title that same year. Currently, Moffatt is playing professional basketball in the Czech Republic, where he has quickly made a name for himself. On Wednesday night, he was a major contributor to BK KVIS Pardubice's decisive 98-74 victory over the league outsider Plzen, who has struggled this season with a 1-9 record, in the Czech Republic Maxa NBL. In just 25 minutes of play, Moffatt delivered an impressive performance, scoring 15 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, dishing out 3 assists, and adding 3 steals. This standout showing is especially notable given that it is only Moffatt’s third season playing professional basketball. BK KVIS Pardubice, currently holding a 9-2 record, sits second in the league standings, and this win marked their third consecutive victory in a row. Moffatt’s consistent offensive and defensive contributions, including his 15-point effort against Plzen, have been instrumental in his team’s recent success. Over the course of the season, Moffatt has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.2 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, 2.6 assists per game, and 1.9 steals per game, underscoring his well-rounded impact on the court. His development from a Patriot League Regular Season Champion at Colgate to a key pro player in the Czech league highlights his growing influence and potential in professional basketball.

#2. Will Rayman, a 6'8'' forward and a 29-year-old Red Raiders alumnus from the class of 2020, who earned the prestigious All-Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year award during his college career, currently plays professional basketball in Israel. Despite his strong defensive reputation and experience, Rayman was unable to lead his team, Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv, to victory in their recent Euroleague matchup against Crvena zvezda. The game, which took place on the road, ended in a decisive 100-78 defeat for Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv, who now hold a disappointing 2-7 record, while Crvena zvezda stands at a much stronger 6-3 and ranks third in the league. In this particular game, Rayman struggled to make a significant impact offensively, scoring only 2 points. However, he did contribute 6 rebounds and 2 assists over 15 minutes of play, showing his involvement on both ends of the court. Despite his efforts, the team suffered their third consecutive loss, marking a challenging stretch early in the season. Rayman’s current season averages remain modest, with 0.6 points per game and 1.4 rebounds per game. It is also noteworthy that Rayman holds dual citizenship, being both American and Israeli, which allows him to compete in Israel as a domestic player, an important factor for team roster considerations. Although Tuesday’s game was not among Rayman’s best performances, the season is still in its early stages, and there remains ample opportunity for both him and Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv to improve and turn their fortunes around.

#3. Tucker Richardson, a 6'5'' guard and 27-year-old standout who graduated from Colgate in 2023, where he earned the prestigious All-Patriot League All-Tournament MVP award, is currently playing professional basketball in Belgium. This season marks his first with Brussels Basketball, a team competing in the BNXT League. Despite his efforts, Richardson was unable to lead Brussels Basketball, which held a 4-1 record, to a victory against Spirou Charleroi, who came into the game with a 3-2 record. In the matchup held in Charleroi, Richardson played 24 minutes and contributed 9 points, along with 2 rebounds and 1 assist, showcasing his well-rounded skills on the court. Unfortunately, Brussels Basketball was defeated 81-66 by the lower-ranked Spirou Charleroi, who are currently positioned fifth in the league standings. This loss marked Brussels Basketball’s first defeat following an impressive streak of four consecutive wins. Throughout the season, Richardson has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.2 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists per game, and 1.6 steals per game. His consistent performance highlights his importance to the team as they navigate the competitive BNXT League. Despite this recent setback, Richardson continues to demonstrate his capabilities as a key player and potential champion contender in the league.

#4. Portuguese player Francisco Amiel, a 6'2'' guard and 30 years old, is an alumnus of the Red Raiders from the class of 2019. During his time with the Red Raiders, he played a significant role in helping the team achieve the status of Patriot League Regular Season Co-Champion that year, marking an important milestone in his collegiate basketball career. Currently, Amiel is playing professionally in Spain. Recently, he was unable to lead his team, Albacete, which holds a 3-3 record, to victory against Zamora, who have a 2-4 record, in the Spanish Primera FEB, the country's second division league. In this closely contested match, Albacete was narrowly defeated 90-89 on the opponent’s home court by the lower-ranked Zamora team, which is positioned at #14 in the standings. During the game, Amiel contributed 4 points and provided 1 assist over the span of 12 minutes on the court. Although his scoring output was modest and his playing time limited, his efforts were noteworthy. Despite his valuable contributions as a player, his team ultimately fell short of securing the win. Throughout this season, Francisco Amiel has been averaging 1.3 points per game, reflecting his current role and impact on the team as they compete in the competitive environment of the Spanish Segunda División.

#5. Oliver Lynch-Daniels, a 6'2'' guard and 28-year-old professional basketball player, graduated from Colgate University in 2023. During his time at Colgate, he played a pivotal role in leading the team to become the Patriot League Regular Season Champion that year. Currently, Lynch-Daniels is playing professionally in Italy. Last Sunday, he was unable to help his team, Vicenza, which holds a 1-5 record, secure a victory in their game against the higher-ranked Sangiorgese (#14) in Group A. The match took place in Legnano, where Vicenza, positioned 18th in the standings, was narrowly defeated 66-62. Despite the loss, Lynch-Daniels delivered an impressive performance, emerging as the second-best scorer on his team by putting up 12 points. In addition to his scoring, he contributed 4 rebounds and 2 assists over 35 minutes of play, showcasing his versatility and commitment on the court. Throughout this season, Lynch-Daniels has maintained relatively strong statistics, averaging 13.3 points per game (ppg), 4.2 rebounds per game (rpg), 2.8 assists per game (apg), and 1.3 steals per game (spg). His consistent performance highlights his value as a key player for Vicenza, even as the team faces challenges in climbing the league standings.
