In the recent match, Tedrick Wilcox, a towering guard standing at 6'6'' who graduated from Hampton in 2024 and currently plays professionally in Romania, showcased his skills for the struggling Galati team, which has yet to secure a win in the Play-Out Round with a record of 0-28. Despite Galati's challenging position, Wilcox stood out as the standout performer in their last game against the formidable Brasov, who are ranked 12th in the league. Even though Galati ultimately fell short with a score of 88-96 at home, Wilcox demonstrated his prowess on the court by leading his team in scoring with 22 points and contributing 7 rebounds in just 32 minutes of play. This remarkable performance is particularly noteworthy considering that Wilcox is only in his second season of professional basketball. With just one more game left in the Play-Out Round, the upcoming match holds significant importance for Galati. Wilcox's consistent contributions throughout the season are reflected in his respectable statistics, averaging 14.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game over the course of 14 games played so far.
