#1. Brandon Boyd, a 5'11'' point guard, is a 29-year-old graduate of CBU in 2020 who previously played for Idaho St. from 2015 to 2019. During his time at Idaho St., he received an All-Big Sky Conference Honorable Mention award. Currently, Boyd is playing professionally in Puerto Rico. In a recent game, Boyd and his team, Mets de Guaynabo, faced off against the Leones in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional. Despite his efforts, Boyd could not lead his team to victory against the Leones, with the Mets de Guaynabo falling 101-78 on the road. Boyd contributed 5 points in 19 minutes of play during the game. Although the Mets de Guaynabo are currently in fourth place with a 12-13 record, they were defeated by the lower-ranked Leones in Group B. Boyd showcased a solid performance against Ponce, scoring 5 points and grabbing 3 rebounds, but unfortunately, his team still suffered a loss. Throughout the season, Boyd has been averaging 3.8 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in the 25 games he has played so far.
