#1. Serbian forward Matija Svetozarevic, a 24-year-old standing 6'8'' and a graduate of Midwestern State in 2025, currently plays professionally in Serbia and has been making a significant impact for KK Konstantin Nis. Last Saturday, he contributed to his team’s convincing 86-68 victory over the sixth-ranked Krusevac (4-2) in the Serbian Druga Muska Liga Srbije, which is the country's second division. In that game, Svetozarevic played 24 minutes, during which he scored 5 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dished out 3 assists, playing a crucial role in helping KK Konstantin Nis secure the win. KK Konstantin Nis, with an impressive undefeated record of 6-0, currently holds the top position in the league standings. The team has won all six of its regular-season games so far, showcasing a strong start to the season. However, given that this is still an early stage of the competition, the dynamics could change as the season progresses. This season marks Svetozarevic’s first year with KK Konstantin Nis, and he has been demonstrating solid performances. Over the six games he has played, he is averaging respectable stats of 12.7 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, and 1.8 assists per game. His contributions on both ends of the floor have proven valuable to his team’s success, and he continues to develop as a key player in the league.
