#1. Manny Camper, a 6'7'' guard/forward who graduated from Siena in 2021 and received the All-MAAC Player of the Year award that same year, currently plays professionally in Puerto Rico. In a recent game, despite his commendable efforts, he was unable to assist the Santeros de Aguada (11-12) to victory. The third-placed Aguada suffered a defeat on the road against the leading Criollos with a final score of 88-101 in Group A. During the game, Camper showcased his skills by contributing 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists, impressively making all five of his free throws, all in just 27 minutes of play. In a separate match against Caguas, he once again displayed his talent with the same stats of 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Despite his consistent performances, his team unfortunately fell short in both games. Throughout this season, Camper has maintained an average of 9.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game in the 20 games he has participated in so far.
#2. Experienced champion Alex Franklin, a 6'6'' forward who is 37 years old and an alum of the Saints from 2010, currently plays professionally in Puerto Rico. Franklin, who received the MAAC All-Tournament MVP award in 2010, suits up for Gigantes de Carolina. In a recent game against the Mets, Franklin's team fell short, losing 90-94 in Guaynabo. Despite his best efforts, Franklin contributed 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist in just 13 minutes of play. This marks Franklin's fourth season with Gigantes de Carolina, where he continues to showcase his skills on the court. Throughout the current season, Franklin has been averaging 2.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in the 10 games he has participated in so far. It is noteworthy that Franklin holds both American and Puerto Rican citizenship, allowing him to compete in Puerto Rico as a domestic player.
