We bring you last week's top former Thunderbirds players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Tevian Jones, a 6'7'' guard who graduated from SUU in 2023 and was a finalist for the Lou Henson National Player of the Year Award that year, currently plays professionally in Canada. In a recent game, despite his solid performance, Jones could not lift the Saskatchewan Mamba (2-5) to a victory as they suffered a tough 105-85 loss on the road against the Bandits. Jones showcased his skills on the court by contributing 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists in just 24 minutes of play. Although the Saskatchewan Mamba is facing challenges early in the season, there is still plenty of time for the team to improve and turn things around. Jones has consistently displayed his talent, as evidenced by his impressive performance in a previous game against Vancouver where he also recorded 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, despite the team's unfortunate loss. So far this season, Jones has maintained strong statistics, averaging 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game in the two games he has played. With his skills and determination, Jones remains a key player for the Saskatchewan Mamba as they strive for success in the ongoing season.

#2. In a thrilling matchup on Monday night, the 30-year-old, 6'8'' forward/center Jacob Calloway, a Thunderbirds alumnus from 2019 now playing professionally in Mexico, made a significant impact for Angeles de Ciudad de Mexico. Facing the closely-ranked Tijuana Zonkeys in the Mexican Circuito de Baloncesto de la Costa del Pacifico, Calloway contributed to his team's narrow 80-78 victory with a crucial performance. Despite only scoring 3 points in 17 minutes of play, Calloway's presence on the court was felt as he also managed to grab 3 rebounds during the game. His modest statistics belied his importance to the team, as his efforts helped Angeles de Ciudad de Mexico secure the vital win. This victory was instrumental in propelling his team towards success, with Calloway emerging as the finalist. Currently, Angeles de Ciudad de Mexico holds the fifth position in the league standings with a record of 20-20. Throughout the season, Calloway has maintained solid stats, averaging 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in the 43 games he has played so far. His consistent contributions have undoubtedly played a key role in his team's journey towards the championship.
