Here is the weekly review of the top performing Panthers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Ishmael Leggett, a 6'3'' guard who graduated from Pittsburgh in 2025 and currently plays professionally in Germany, was a standout player in MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg's recent victory against the third-ranked Braunschweig in the German easyCredit BBL on Sunday night. In the game, Leggett scored 18 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists in 33 minutes of play, demonstrating an impressive performance for someone in only their second season in professional basketball. Despite being in his first year with the team, Leggett's impact on the court was undeniable, contributing significantly to his team's success like a true champion. This strong showing adds to Leggett's overall excellent season, where he is averaging 17.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, solidifying his position as a top finalist in the league. With such promising performances early in the season, Leggett's potential as a key player remains high, and fans can look forward to more exciting games ahead.

#2. Damian Dunn, a 25-year-old 6'5'' guard and Panthers alumnus from 2025, showcased his skills in the French Betclic ELITE league while playing professionally in France. In a recent match, Dunn led ES Chalon-Sur-Saone to a dominant victory over Sluc Nancy, one of the league's struggling teams with a 0-3 record. The final score was an impressive 108-67 in favor of ES Chalon-Sur-Saone, highlighting Dunn's impact on the game. Despite playing for ES Chalon-Sur-Saone for the first season, Dunn made a significant contribution by scoring 11 points and making 3 steals in just 21 minutes of gameplay. His performance on the court not only helped secure the win for his team but also demonstrated his capabilities as a champion player. Currently, ES Chalon-Sur-Saone holds the fourth position in the league standings with a 2-1 record, thanks in part to Dunn's valuable contributions. Throughout the season, Dunn has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. With his consistent performance and leadership on the court, Damian Dunn continues to prove himself as a standout finalist in the league.

#3. Michael Young, a 6'8'' power forward aged 32, who graduated from Pittsburgh in 2017 and received the All-ACC Third Team award that year, currently plays professionally in Russia. In a recent game, he was a standout performer for BC Enisey Krasnoyarsk as they secured a convincing victory over Samara in the VTB United League. Young's impressive stat line of 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 28 minutes of play showcased his skill and contribution to the team's success. This victory helped Enisey improve their standing in the league, currently placing seventh. Despite it being his first season with the team, Young's consistent performance on the court has established him as a champion. Throughout the season, he has been averaging 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.

#4. Experienced champion Lamar Patterson, a 6'5'' guard/forward who is 35 years old and an alum of the Panthers from 2014, currently plays professionally in Australia. In the recent game last Sunday, despite Patterson's solid performance, the bottom-ranked Illawarra Hawks fell short against the higher-ranked Taipans (#4), losing 110-100 on the road. Patterson contributed with 11 points and 4 assists in just 17 minutes of play. Even though Patterson displayed a commendable effort with 11 points and 4 assists against Cairns, his team, the Illawarra Hawks, were unable to secure a victory. Throughout this season, Patterson has been averaging 6.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game for his team.

#5. Ryan Luther, a 6'9'' power forward and a 31-year-old finalist who graduated from Arizona in 2019, has been making significant contributions to the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins in the Japanese B.Premier League. Despite having played in Pittsburgh between 2014 and 2018, Luther has seamlessly transitioned to the professional basketball scene in Japan. In a recent game against the 13th-ranked Robots, Luther played a key role in the Diamond Dolphins' 90-78 victory by scoring 8 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and showcasing his skills on the court for 34 minutes. His consistent performance has been crucial to his team's success, helping them maintain an impressive record of 5-0 in the Regular Season and securing the second position in the Western Conference standings. Notably, Luther's all-around game was on display in a match against Ibaraki R., where he not only scored 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds but also contributed 2 assists to lead his team to victory. His impressive stats for the season, averaging 10.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, highlight his impact as a key player for the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins. Luther's stellar play exemplifies the qualities of a champion, elevating his team's performance and driving them towards success in the league.

#6. Jamel Artis, a 6'7'' forward and a 33-year-old Panthers alumnus from 2017, currently plays professionally in Colombia. Despite his All-ACC Honorable Mention award in 2017, Artis was unable to assist the Paisas (7-2) in their recent game last Thursday. The Paisas, who are currently in first place, suffered a close 91-89 defeat in Cali against the second-ranked Toros in the Conferencia B, despite Artis' stellar performance on the court where he scored 27 points and secured 5 rebounds in 31 minutes of play. In the game against the Toros, Artis exhibited an impressive performance, showcasing his scoring ability, rebounding skills, and also contributing 1 assist. Even with Artis leading the team in scoring, the Paisas were unable to secure the victory. Throughout this season, Artis has maintained solid statistics, averaging 13.4 points per game, 6.0 rebounds per game, and 2.3 assists per game.
