#1. Justin Edler-Davis, a 28-year-old guard/forward standing 6'4'', who graduated from California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) in 2022, is currently playing professional basketball in Germany. In his first season with Rasta Vechta, Edler-Davis has been a key player for the team. Despite his commendable efforts, he was unable to help Rasta Vechta (0-3) secure a win in their latest game. The team faced a tough road game against the higher-ranked (#3) Hapoel Holon and narrowly lost 81-88. Edler-Davis delivered an impressive individual performance, emerging as the top scorer with 13 points. In addition to his scoring, he contributed significantly on the boards, grabbing 8 rebounds in just 20 minutes of play, and also provided 1 assist. His strong showing underscored his importance to the team, even though it was not enough to turn the tide in Vechta’s favor. So far, Rasta Vechta has struggled in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season, having lost all three of their games. With only three games remaining before the end of the regular season, every match will be critical for the team’s chances of advancing. Edler-Davis has posted solid statistics this year, averaging 13.1 points per game and 4.9 rebounds per game over seven games played, reflecting his consistent contributions on both ends of the court. As the season progresses, Edler-Davis will be looking to build on his strong performances and help Rasta Vechta secure much-needed victories to improve their standing in the league.
#2. Belgian forward Tom Mark, a 6'7'' tall, 25-year-old Roadrunners alumnus from the class of 2026 who currently plays professionally in Estonia, played a significant role in leading Keila Korvpallikool to a hard-fought 78-72 victory over the 13th-ranked Viimsi (1-7) in the Optibet Latvian-Estonian Basketball League on Tuesday night. Mark contributed 5 points, grabbed an impressive 14 rebounds, and made 5 blocks during his 35 minutes on the court, showcasing his defensive prowess and rebounding ability. Additionally, he provided 1 assist, further demonstrating his all-around impact on the game. Keila Korvpallikool, now holding a 3-4 record and positioned ninth in the league standings, benefited greatly from Mark's consistent performance. Although the season is still in its early stages and there is plenty of time for rankings to shift, Mark’s efforts were instrumental in securing this important win for his team. Throughout the season so far, Mark has maintained solid averages of 8.1 points per game, 7.6 rebounds per game, 1.4 assists per game, 2.0 blocks per game—leading the league in this category—and 1.6 steals per game across seven games played. His standout defensive contributions and overall versatility make him a key player to watch as Keila Korvpallikool continues its campaign.
#3. Travis Henson, a 27-year-old small forward standing at 6'7'', who graduated from CSUB in 2023 and currently plays professionally in Luxembourg, played a key role in his team's dominant victory against the fifth-ranked T71, who held a 3-3 record, crushing them 83-60 in the Luxembourg Basketball League on Sunday night. During the game, Henson contributed 9 points over 31 minutes of play, showcasing his skills and helping to secure a decisive win. BBC Etzella Ettelbruck, Henson's team, now holds a strong 5-1 record and is placed first in the league standings. This victory marked their third consecutive win, demonstrating their growing momentum and team cohesion. Despite this being Henson's first season with BBC Etzella Ettelbruck, he has quickly established himself as a vital player for the team. In the match against T71, Henson not only scored an impressive 9 points but also grabbed 3 rebounds, playing a crucial role in securing his team's victory. His outstanding performance was instrumental in making his team the champion of the match, contributing significantly to the team’s success. Individually, Henson is having a very strong season, boasting impressive statistics. Over the six games he has played so far, he is averaging 20.7 points per game (ppg), 4.3 rebounds per game (rpg), and 1.3 assists per game (apg), highlighting his all-around contribution and consistency on the court. With such performances, Henson is proving to be a valuable asset and a key figure in his team's pursuit of top honors in the league.
#4. Experienced Canadian guard Justin Dennis, standing 6'1" tall and currently 39 years old, is a seasoned professional basketball player competing in Germany. A proud alumnus of the Roadrunners from 2010, Dennis earned the All-NAIA Division 1 Honorable Mention award that same year, highlighting his collegiate achievements. Currently, he plays for TSG Bergedorf Stargazers Hamburg in the German Regionalliga, the fourth division of German basketball. In a recent matchup, Dennis was unable to lead the TSG Bergedorf Stargazers Hamburg, who hold a 1-5 record and are positioned 13th in the North group, to victory against Lichterfelde, a higher-ranked team sitting at 3-3 and 11th place. The Stargazers fell 61-73 on the road in this contest. Throughout 32 minutes of play, Dennis contributed an impressive 4 points, secured 4 rebounds, dished out 5 assists, and made 3 steals. Despite these solid individual statistics and his valuable impact on both offense and defense, his efforts were not enough to overcome Lichterfelde's challenge. For the current season, Dennis is averaging 7.7 points per game, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.8 steals over six games, demonstrating consistent all-around performance. It is also worth mentioning that Dennis participated in the Eurobasket Summer League, an experience that significantly aided him in securing his professional basketball career overseas.
#5. DR Congolese forward Gloire Goma, a 6'5'' athlete and 22-year-old graduate of CSUB in 2025, currently playing professionally in Spain, was unable to help Getafe avoid defeat in their most recent outing. Despite Goma’s commendable performance, Getafe, who are positioned 14th in the standings, suffered a narrow 86-83 home loss to the much higher-ranked (#3) Leonesa in Group A. In this game, Goma showcased his skills by contributing 10 points, securing 6 rebounds, and blocking 2 shots over 30 minutes of play. This season marks Goma’s first with Getafe, and although he delivered a strong individual performance against a tough opponent, his efforts were not enough to turn the tide in favor of his team. Getafe has struggled so far, having lost all four games in the Regular Season. Over these four games, Goma has been a consistent presence on the court, averaging 6.0 points per game (ppg), 4.8 rebounds per game (rpg), 1.3 blocks per game (bpg), and an impressive 2.8 steals per game (spg), which ranks him as the second best in the league in this category. Despite the team’s difficulties, Goma’s contributions highlight his potential and importance as a key player for Getafe moving forward.
