Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC We bring you last week's top former Bobcats players who are currently playing in pro basketball.
#1. Sayvon Traylor (6'5''-G-2000, played in 2022-24, plays pro in Ukraine) led Rivne to a 1-point victory over the league leader Dnipro (8-1) 91-90 in the Ukrainian Superleague on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Traylor scored 27 points (!!!) and grabbed 4 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) in 39 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Rivne-OSHVSM (3-0) is placed second in the Superleague. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. The Regular Season already ended. It's Traylor's first year with the team. Traylor has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 17.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.9spg.
#2. Carlos Hines (6'5''-G-1999, played in 2023-25, plays in Ukraine) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sayvon Traylor. But that was another game of his team in Ukrainian Superleague which we would like to mention. Hines could not help Rivne (4-5) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Rivne was edged71-68 on the road by the higher-ranked (#4) Zaporizhye. Hines was the top scorer with 20 points; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It's Hines' first year with the team. Hines has relatively good stats this season 10.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.2apg and 1.1spg in nine games he played so far.
#3. William Lybaek (6'2''-G-1997, played in 2020-21, currently in Norway) led Fyllingen to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Baerum (1-3) crushing them 101-79 in the Norwegian BLNO last Saturday. Lybaek recorded 13 points in 21 minutes. Fyllingen BBK (6-1) is placed second in the BLNO. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Lybaek's first year with the team. This season he averages 8.3ppg and 1.6rpg.
#4. Goncalo Fonseca (6'3''-G-2004, played in 2023-25, plays pro in Portugal) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Queluz (0-5) 89-74 in the Portuguese Proliga (second division) on Saturday night. Fonseca scored 7 points. BSA-PSA Sines Santo Andre (1-4) is placed seventh in South group. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. It's Fonseca's first season with the team. This year he averages 3.2ppg in five games.
