Every week we bring you a list of the top former Cardinal players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Brandon Angel, a 6'9'' forward and 25-year-old basketball player, has quickly made a name for himself in the professional ranks. Although he graduated from Oregon in 2025, his collegiate career was primarily spent at Stanford, where he played from 2020 to 2024. Currently, Angel is showcasing his talents in Germany, playing for ALBA Berlin, a prominent team in the Basketball Champions League. In a thrilling Wednesday night matchup, Angel led ALBA Berlin to a narrow 103-100 victory over the closely-ranked Surne Bilbao, who hold a 2-1 record. This game was highly anticipated as it featured two of the top four teams in the league, making it the game of the round. Angel’s exceptional performance earned him the MVP honors for the game, underscoring his critical role in the team’s success. During the game, Angel delivered an impressive stat line, scoring 24 points and grabbing 4 rebounds in just 24 minutes of play. This standout performance is particularly remarkable considering he is only in his second season as a professional basketball player. His contributions were instrumental in securing ALBA Berlin’s third consecutive win in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season, where the team currently holds a perfect 3-0 record and sits at the top of the league standings. With only three games remaining in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season, every contest is becoming increasingly critical for teams aiming to advance. For Angel, this season marks his first year with ALBA Berlin, and he has already shown that he is a vital asset for the team. Over the three games played so far, he has maintained impressive individual statistics, averaging 16.3 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game, and 2.0 assists per game. Angel’s combination of size, skill, and poise on the court has made him a key figure in ALBA Berlin’s pursuit of success in the competition. As the team aims to maintain its leading position and push deeper into the Basketball Champions League, Brandon Angel’s continued development and high-level performances will undoubtedly be central to their ambitions.

#2. AJ Rohosy, a 6'9'' forward and 23-year-old Cardinal alumnus from the class of 2026, is currently playing professional basketball in Poland. In his most recent game, Rohosy was unable to lead Gornik Zamek Ksiaz Walbrzych (with a record of 3-2) to victory. Despite delivering a very strong individual performance, his team fell short and lost 86-95 on the road against the higher-ranked, third-place team Wilki Morskie. Rohosy stood out as the top scorer for Gornik, putting up an impressive 21 points. In addition to his scoring, he contributed 5 rebounds over 30 minutes of play. This is particularly notable given that it is only Rohosy’s first season playing professional basketball. The loss marked Gornik Zamek Ksiaz Walbrzych’s first defeat after enjoying a streak of three consecutive wins. However, it is important to remember that the season is still in its early stages, and much can change as the competition progresses. Rohosy’s impressive showing against Wilki Morskie was consistent with his earlier performance against King, where he also scored 21 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and dished out 2 assists. Despite his strong individual contributions in both games, his team was unfortunately unable to secure wins. Overall, Rohosy has posted solid statistics this season, averaging 12.2 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game, and 1.6 assists per game over the course of five games. His promising start suggests he has the potential to develop into a key player for Gornik Zamek Ksiaz Walbrzych as the season unfolds.

#3. Experienced Anthony Brown, a 6'6'' forward and 34-year-old professional basketball player, graduated from Stanford University in 2015. During his college career, he played a significant role in helping Stanford secure the NIT Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in Turkey, Brown recently led Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul to a convincing 93-76 victory over the 14th-ranked Cayirova, who have a 1-5 record, in a Turkish ING Basketbol Super Ligi game on Monday night. In this game, Brown showcased his all-around skills by scoring an impressive 14 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and dishing out 6 assists, while maintaining perfection at the free-throw line by going 5 for 5 in just 23 minutes of play. His performance was instrumental in Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul's dominant win. With this victory, Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul improved their record to 3-3, placing them eighth in the league standings. Throughout the season, Brown has maintained solid statistics, averaging 10.7 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game, and 2.2 assists per game over six games, demonstrating his consistent contribution to the team’s success.

#4. Brook Lopez, a 7'0'' center and 38-year-old professional basketball player, is a notable Cardinal alumnus from the class of 2008. During his college career, he earned the prestigious NABC Division I All-District 14 First Team award that same year, highlighting his early promise and talent on the court. Currently playing in the NBA, Lopez recently took to the floor for the Los Angeles Clippers, a team struggling with a 1-6 record this season. In their latest matchup against the Toronto Raptors, Lopez delivered a commendable individual performance. Over the course of 23 minutes, he scored an impressive 12 points, secured 6 rebounds, and added 1 assist, showcasing his skill and contribution on both ends of the floor. Despite his efforts, the Clippers were unable to overcome their opponents, ultimately losing the game 118-125 in Toronto. This loss marks the Clippers' sixth consecutive defeat, underscoring the challenges the team is currently facing. Individually, Lopez is having a very strong season, maintaining solid statistics across the board. Over seven games, he is averaging 12.6 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game, reflecting his consistent impact and value to the team even amidst their struggles. While the Clippers continue to seek a turnaround, Lopez’s performance remains a bright spot and a testament to his experience and skill in the league.

#5. Ziaire Williams, a 6'8'' small forward who is 25 years old and graduated from Stanford University in 2021, where he earned the Pac-12 All-Freshman Honorable Mention award, currently plays professionally in the NBA. In a recent game, despite Williams' solid individual performance, he was unable to help the Los Angeles Lakers, who hold a 6-2 record, secure a win. The Lakers fell 129-136 to the Portland Trail Blazers on the road. During the contest, Williams played 29 minutes and put up an impressive stat line, scoring 11 points, grabbing 2 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists. This marked an encouraging contribution in what is his first season with the Lakers. Although Williams showed promise with his scoring and playmaking, his efforts were not enough to overcome the Trail Blazers, and the Lakers ultimately suffered the loss. Overall, Williams has posted relatively solid numbers this season, averaging 10.8 points per game, 2.8 rebounds per game, 2.2 assists per game, and 1.4 steals per game across five games. His performance indicates his potential as a valuable player for the Lakers moving forward.

#6. Brazilian forward/center Oscar Da Silva, standing at 6'9'' and currently 28 years old, is a notable Cardinal alumnus from the class of 2021, having earned the prestigious All-Pac First Team award during his collegiate career. He is presently playing professionally in Germany. In a recent game, Da Silva was unable to help FC Bayern München Basketball overcome their opponent, Crvena zvezda. Despite his efforts, he managed to score only 4 points over 18 minutes of play. Da Silva’s overall contribution in that match included 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. However, his individual performance was not enough to prevent his team from suffering a heavy defeat, as FC Bayern München was crushed by a 30-point margin, losing 103-73 to Crvena zvezda. Throughout the current season, Da Silva has maintained solid averages, putting up 7.5 points per game (ppg) and 2.3 rebounds per game (rpg) across eight games. It is also noteworthy that Da Silva holds dual citizenship, possessing both American and Brazilian passports. This dual nationality allows him to compete in Brazil as a domestic player, which can be advantageous for his professional career in different leagues.

#7. Josh Sharma, a 7-foot-tall center and 31-year-old professional basketball player, graduated from Stanford University in 2019, where he earned an All-Pac Honorable Mention award that same year. Currently playing professionally in Greece, Sharma made a significant contribution to Lefkadas' impressive 73-59 victory over the closely-ranked Mykonos in the Greek Stoiximan Basketball League during Saturday night's game. In that matchup, he scored 8 points and grabbed 10 rebounds over 23 minutes of play, demonstrating his impact on both ends of the floor. Throughout the season, Sharma has maintained relatively strong statistics, averaging 11.2 points per game, an impressive 9.2 rebounds per game—which leads the league—and 1.4 blocks per game across five games. His consistent performance has been vital for his team’s success. Additionally, it is notable that Sharma is a naturalized British citizen, adding an international dimension to his professional career.

#8. Ebuka Okorie, a 6'2'' guard and a 19-year-old Cardinal alumnus from the class of 2026, who earned the prestigious All-ACC First Team award that same year, currently plays professionally in the NBA. Recently, he played a part in helping the Detroit Pistons achieve a commanding victory over the Charlotte Hornets, with a final score of 124-91 in Monday night's game. Although Okorie scored only 4 points in his 6 minutes on the court, his contributions extended beyond scoring. He added 2 rebounds and 1 assist, demonstrating his all-around impact during his limited playtime. These efforts were instrumental in supporting the Pistons’ dominant performance and securing the decisive win over the Hornets. This season, Okorie has appeared in four games and is averaging 1.5 points per game. Despite limited minutes, his presence continues to be valuable to the team as he develops his professional career.

#9. Australian Isaac White, a 6'2'' guard and 28-year-old professional basketball player, graduated from California Baptist University (CBU) in 2021. Prior to that, he played collegiate basketball at Stanford University between 2017 and 2020. Currently competing professionally in Australia, White played a key role in helping the Adelaide 36ers secure a 108-101 victory over one of the league's weaker teams, the New Zealand Breakers, during Friday night's game in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). In this matchup, White contributed 5 points in just 4 minutes of playing time, also grabbing 1 rebound. His efficient performance was instrumental in supporting his team's success and ultimately securing the win. Over the course of the current season, White has been averaging 3.8 points per game (ppg), 1.6 rebounds per game (rpg), and 1.1 assists per game (apg) across 10 games, demonstrating his steady contribution to the Adelaide 36ers.

#10. Reid Travis, a 6'8'' forward and a 30-year-old Wildcats alumnus from the 2019 class, who played collegiate basketball at Stanford University between 2014 and 2018 and earned an All-Pac First Team award during his senior year, is currently playing professional basketball in Japan. Despite his experience and skills, Travis was unable to lead the Akita Northern Happinets to a victory against Chiba Altiri in their recent matchup. In that game, he contributed 4 points and grabbed 1 rebound over 14 minutes of play. Unfortunately, his efforts were not enough as the Happinets fell short with a final score of 85-89. Throughout the season, Travis has been averaging 7.6 points per game (ppg), 5.1 rebounds per game (rpg), and 1.3 assists per game (apg) across nine games, demonstrating consistent contributions even though his team has struggled to secure wins.
