Sigal Pristhina captured the Balkan League title. They overcame Rilski Sportist in Samokov tonight to bag the trophy. Jordan Hulls (180-G-90, college: Indiana) came up with 22 points to pace the Kosovan team. Sigal Prishtina enjoyed a 2-point cushion after the opening leg of the Finals. But Rilski sank 26 points in the first frame and opened a 4-point lead at the first break. Sigal Pristhina however adjusted defensively in the second term. The visitors erased the deficit and ensured a 38:36 halftime lead. Sigal Prishtina dropped 19 points in the third term to boost the lead to 5 points 57:52. The visitors went for 23 points in the fourth frame and got away with the title. Julian Mavunga (203-PF-90, college: Miami, OH) had 16 points, while Dardan Berisha (193-SG-88) and Edin Bavcic (209-F/C-84, agency: Beo Basket) added 12 points each in the victory. Tony Gugino (207-C/F-86, college: Hillsdale) responded with 25 points and 9 rebounds for Rilski. Vernon Taylor (192-G-87, college: Troy) netted 15 points in the defeat.
