League MVP & Top Scorer
Fenerbahce are 24/25 Euroleague champions-May 25, 2025
Fenerbahce - Monaco 81-70

Fenerbahce are the new Euroleague champions. They overcame Monaco in the championship game in Abu Dhabi tonight. The Turkish powerhouse retained the trophy last won in 2016/17 season. Nigel Hayes-Davis (203-F-1994, college: Wisconsin) paced well-balanced effort from Fenerbahce with 23 points and 9 rebounds.
It was a see-saw action in the first half. Monaco eked out a 20-18 lead after ten minutes. But Fenerbahce stiffened defensively in the second period. The Turkish side limited their opponents to just 13 points in the quarter to surge ahead for a 35-33 halftime lead. Fenerbahce remained in front throughout the third period. They established a 54-51 lead at the final break. Fenerbahce used an 11-0 run to start the fourth period to surge ahead. Matthew Strazel (184-PG-2002) managed to narrow the deficit at 5-point mark 64-69 with under two minutes to go in regulation. But Marko Guduric (196-G/F-1995) sank five straight points to restore a comfortable cushion and Fenerbahce never looked back en route to a historic win. Marko Guduric accounted for 19 points, while Wade Baldwin IV (193-G-1996, college: Vanderbilt) and Devon Hall (196-G/F-1995, college: Virginia, agency: Octagon Europe) netted 13 points each for Fenerbahce. Alpha Diallo (201-F-1997, college: Providence) answered with 19 points for Monaco. Mike James (185-PG-1990, college: Lamar) tossed in 17 points in the loss.
